Diego Cabezuela Sancho
Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. Master of Legal Practice. Monographic courses on bankruptcy, social, criminal law and European Court of Human Rights. Professional practice in bankruptcy law, corporate law, criminal law and compliance.
Incorporated to the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid. Member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) between 1990/1994; International Union of Lawyers (UIA) 1995/1999 and International Bar Association (IBA) 2000/2008. President of the Occupational Accident Observatory. Criminal Law Group of the Madrid Bar Association.
Diego develops his activity around the business world and issues related to the world of companies – mainly bankruptcy, corporate and economic criminal law. Among the latter, corporate crimes, against the public treasury, punishable insolvencies, and against workplace safety and corporate criminal liability. He collaborates in business criminal law matters with internal and in-house consultancies of various multinational corporations.
Teaching and publications
Speaker at conferences and roundtables on mercantile matters and criminal liability of legal entities, insolvency crimes, against workplace safety and corporate criminal law, in general. Speaker in courses on the criminal law of new technologies. Participant in the roundtables of the KPMG Economic Crime Observatory. Professor of the Masters in Economic Criminal Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University.
